The diagnosis and treatment of vascular anomalies are a significant part of the caseload for pediatric interventional radiologists. Knowledge of the most common types of vascular abnormalities and their management is very important, and imaging plays a fundamental role. The diagnosis and treatment of these disorders are closely linked to accurate diagnosis and proper follow-up. We present some of our vascular cases in the Archive of Pediatric Vascular Anomalies:
Case No. 1
A 15-year-old boy with dual vascular abnormalities, compatible with aneurysmal malformation and the A1 segment.
Case No. 2
A 9-year-old girl with seizures; MRI shows a large AV malformation in the right periventricular region, associated with slight gliosis and brain parenchymal atrophy.
Case No. 3
A 17-month-old boy with extensive AV malformation involving the left hemisphere, leading to prominence of cortical veins and venous anomalies at the left skull base.
